Bistro Apetit invites you to an exclusive dinner with the unique wines of southern Styria

Our desire to always offer you only the best from the world of wine and haute cuisine, this time will be achieved through an unforgettable evening that will creatively present the three major wineries, three great personalities and one impressive wine region.
In other words, we are proud to present the young generation of Austrian winemakers, Tement, Gross and Meitz, with their unique wines of southern Styria.
Moderate in appearance, but uncompromising in wine making, these passionate men will join the creative team of Bistro Apetit, led by chef Goran Kočiš, and prepare an exclusive dinner to remember.

Your Bistro Apetit

Gross Winery began with production back in 1907, and their vineyards are located on some of the best locations of southern Styria. Nussberg position is the name that causes a special respect and brothers Gross are the perfect team that brings the best out of it. The heart of the winery Tement are Manfred Tement, his sons and the impressive Zieregg – a vineyard location in the middle of which a modern winery is located. Vineyards of the family Tement stretch across the Slovenian border, and Manfred alone is known as the man who laid the foundation of a specific style of Sauvignon Blanc of the region. Wolfgang Maitz is the winemaker who does the entire job in the winery alone. His motto is “unpredictability is what makes us alive”, and he seeks from his wines to take people on a journey, rather than to meet their expectations.
